Same happened to me, the tracker went from compound in at Liverpool, straight to Dealer delivery, then the sales guy phoned that afternoon to say he had it. I bet yours is waiting at the dealer and you'll probably get a call tomorrow.
Hi Geoff, yes it was offloaded 4th Oct from Atlantic sail, I have no idea how it moved from there to the dealer so fast. Hope yours is sorted shortly. They are deffo moving cars from the docks, so holding out some hope for you.
Cool stuff, my dealer phoned this morning...my Grabber Blue Mach one has arrived at the dealers this morning...
Wooooohooo...sadly I am out of the UK next week, so won't get to collect until 31st Oct...but at least it's here, hoping the rest of you get similar news in next few days.
Spoke to my sales person today, he wasn't very positive. Saying he had no visibility or influence when the cars will be collected or where they will go...so I'm in the dark for now. Waiting with baited breath.
Mine has just updated on the tracker to Compound In as of early morning 4th Oct, So very certain it came over on Atantic Sail this week and is sat in Liverpool docks. Time to phone the dealer and get a revised date. Am I right in thinking it goes to Dagenham first for PDI and import clearance...
I haven't been told either...I am always the one chasing my dealer representative sadly. But you forum guys are keeping me up to speed and you are probably my best source of info, for that I am very thankful.
I would love to have MaP work on mine, but I'm way down in New Forest Area, my local place is Hendy Performance in Eastleigh (near southampton), I used them for my last GT and they were really good, so hoping for a similar experience again.
Just for info, my spec: Grabber Blue, Manual, Recaro...
I'm really liking the Nite Pony package, for me the exterior looks great, but I am hearing that we might fall Into the no Handling Pack for UK, but a half-arsed appearance package again. However I do hear from Simply Mustangs Facebook people that UK is at least getting 7th Gen...which is nice.
Perfect, many thanks....sadly I'm still compound in, I guess waiting for shipping. Dealer told me end of Oct ready for my collection, looking forward very much.
Ahh OK. So landing 3rd Oct the estimate to be at the dealers for end of Oct sounds plausible. Just in time for winter...I'll hold off getting rid of the current toy for another month then.
Just out of curiosity, do you happen to know what the departure port is from U.S? my last Mustang back in late 2016 went from Baltimore to Rotterdam I think. What's the current preferred departure and arrival ports.
Diff oil service interval makes sense for a track or race car. I run a race Porsche 944 occasionally with a quaife LSD and we schedule engine oil change after 6 hours race/qualifying pace, Diff oil every year, Gearbox oil every 2 years.
Personally I would not wait 150k miles before changing diff...
