Exactly the point I was making.A whipple car beating a stock GTR is nothing to write home about.
GTR's only like $110K not $250K, but I agree if you have that kind of money I'd look at some other stuff as well250K then you need to drop another 50K into it, yeah nah. Mustang #FTW
A new CTS-V fully loaded would be a pretty sweet ride for less money with the option to easily mod and I honestly see less than GTR's and 911's. Im also currently waiting on a whipple since december and a CTS-V is a dream car of mine i wouldnt mind trading out of for.I've been looking at 120k msrp so about $132k OTD plus shipping if bought out of state to California. It's a dream car of mine but is very dated and about to be discontinued, so last chance to buy new. For the price, a new 911 or R8 is much nicer. Just can't get the GTR out of my head.
A lot more money is an under statement. One of my best friends has a 900whp gtr. He spent 23 grand just to get to that level. And he only roll races it out of fear of hurting the transmission. Here’s a photo of his car at a roll event at pocono raceway.GTRs are in the 6s now. Sure op would be spending a lot more to mod or even purchase the car, but if he could accept that then I guess he should purchase one.

I get that way of looking, if I had the kind of money to buy one mine would be a pristine 1st gen Viper.I've been looking at 120k msrp so about $132k OTD plus shipping if bought out of state to California.
