So i picked up my car last night. It was at my mechanics getting vacuum leak checked. Drove it home with no exhaust as i have to cut and fit my new exhaust.

I smell like gas now. When i put my exhaust on i will be running no cats. Will my car and i smell like gas now while running around with no cats?

If it all seals up correctly and is properly tuned you should have no gas smell. Now if you park it in a garage and idle it for 20mins, you may smell gas, you may also die so try not to do that.

What you smell from driving open header is extreme compared to a catless setup that runs to the back of the car. Also keep in mind that headers end right under your seat so you are getting the full brunt of all the fumes.

You'll be fine. I'm catless and you can smell a hint of that catless/fuel smell if you sit at a long red light but that's about it.
