I have the same issue. I figured maybe it was a safety deal why they don't go up automatically and ford elected that instead of a pinch protection system. Curious what others have also.

This is a standard feature. From the 2015 Mustang brochure under Standard Features, it states, "Power windows with global open and one-touchup/-down feature (one-touch-up fastback only)"

If it isn't working, take it into Ford for a look and let us know the outcome. If there is an issue, all the details we can collect the better the Mustang Community is served.

Do you have a convertible? It doesn't work on convertibles.

I had the same issue on the convertible I rented. The one touch down worked fine, but I had to hold it up to close the window. I wonder why Ford designed the one touch up not work on the convertible...

My 05 would have this problem (only in the winter for some reason) and I would have to reset the windows every once in a while. I would imagine its the same process for the S550 but can't confirm. Anyway, with the window all the way up; push and hold down, continue to hold the button for another 2 seconds once the window is completely down. Next push and hold up, continue to hold for another 2 seconds after the window is all the way up. See if this fixes the issue (assuming you don't have a convertible), certainly won't hurt to try. Also, it has to be done for each individual window.

this was infamous in the 05s. have not experienced it in my 15 yet, but, i believe the reset function is the same.

I think it has something to do with the 1/4 inch weather strip clearance losing calibration. this reset process tells the computer where the window is. when the window is all the way up, it will go down a quarter inch when you open the door. The computer needs to know when to do this and just sometimes forgets.

Mine is a convertible, which explains mine not going up with one push. Thanks for the info.
