One touch up on DS

Love the fact that the windows have the one touch down feature. The one touch up is an even bigger bonus!

I did notice that the one touch up works on passenger side but not driver?

My driver side goes up for about 2 inches, then stops - am I the only one?

They both should do one touch up, I believe they have been doing it since 05

1. The door MUST be closed during this procedure (for convertibles, the top and quarter glass must be in the CLOSED and UP position) in order for the door window motor to initialize. With the door window in the fully OPEN position, press and hold the window control switch in the UP position at the second detent until the window glass stalls into the glass top run for at least 2 seconds. Release the switch.
2. Press and hold the window control switch in the DOWN position at the second detent until the window glass stalls at the bottom of its travel for at least 2 seconds.
3. Cycle the window glass up and down once more to set the window soft stop for the DOWN position.
4. Test for correct window operation by carrying out the one-touch up and one-touch down features

Hmmm tried the above- no difference.

Try disconnecting the battery first then do the procedure again...should work...if not hit the dealer I guess.

Same thing happened on my fusion. Hold the up button for a few seconds after the window is up and it resets the thing some how. Worked on the fusion anyway
