Got a lil extra cash to buy an upgrade for my suspension - what would you guys recommend? And maybe order of mods.

Car never sees track days. Is driven spiritedly. Would prefer it to be tightened up a bit

- BMR or Steeda front k-brace
- BMR Cradle Lockout/Steeda IRS reinforcements
- Rear steeda IRS braces.

BMR cradle lockout without a doubt.

IRS bits are gonna be the best bang for your buck. BMR and Steeda both offer similar products.

Personally, I would go with this kit from Steeda: https://www.steeda.com/steeda-s550-subframe-alignment-and-support-kit.html

That will center your subframe with the delrin inserts and also eliminate movement with the billet pieces.

I'd go with Steeda because

  • Steeda is doing a huge sale right now on all their goodies
  • Steeda customer support is second to none in the industry
  • They ship stuff fast as hell

You won't be disappointed in the Steeda units - we also offer nice 6G Forum pricing.

Happy to help if you go this route - Whalesald just did a nice bevy of Steeda parts, he has been very happy with the results!

I'll agree with the majority, CB005.

It is absolutely the best performing IRS modification you can perform to the S550 IRS system to reduce subframe movement and deflection.

Our Ultimate IRS Subframe Support Braces are close to production as well. They will finish off the remaining movement that current "non-permanent" IRS modifications still allow (due to smaller layers of rubber within the mounting) and additionally reinforce keys areas of the IRS subframe to help keep deflection of the subframe at a minimum. The best part is, this brace system will work with the CB005 and all other BMR IRS solutions - this ensures the consumer will have the most thorough subframe mounting available without having to permanently modify their bushings. :)

I’ve got to say that the Steeda IRS subframe support braces made the rear end of my car hook up noticeably better for my non-tracked, weekend fun car. Cheap, DIY easy install, no alignment needed.

I’ll be the odd one out: get the Steeda K-brace 2-point and the strut tower brace. You’ll feel the difference with these two. If you’re having traction/wheel hop issues, just take it easy on the gas for a while and get the IRS bits 3rd.
