preparing my stang for storage right now since I'll be up in PA for a month. I ran e85 down to 3 miles till empty (cruising no wot) and filled with 93 and ran that down a little and filled again with 93 and ensured the alch % read 14% which is e10 for my area.

Think I'll just replace the sensor and see what happens. What would a shop charge to relocate?
That's a lot of mods for 13.1.

Just run it a few times here an there. You don't want that E85 sitting.

Car was in the shop; turns out no one, even my local dealer, has the sensor. The irony....

You got off easy brotha! Just be careful. I saw someone once let E85 sit for the winter when their car was stored, and it gummed up the oil pretty bad. Goodies coming next week for me!
Oh damn!!! Merry Xmas brutha!! Be safe out here

Zero knowledge on the E85 side. Explain? Why is a type of fuel sitting in a tank harmful to parts of your engine further down the assembly line?

Ethanol likes to suck moisture like from water. Gas station storage containers and your vehicle undergo heat cycles and therefore introducing water condensation. I think ethanol reacts with minerals/water to create some acids thats why it corrodes the gas lines/tank.

This is the gist of it, I may not be entirely correct.
