We can build them with the H or X, just let us know which one you need.I'm sold! Anyone know of any headers with the H pipe rather than the X?
I don't know, man, I think it's much harder to get a good note with these newer cars then it used to be with the older ones. The original 5.0's and 4.6's sounded so badass IMO. I remember, for example, hearing several 98 Cobra's with aftermarket exhaust and I think the note was just perfect. Perfect amount of deep rumble and gurgle without being too obnoxious.hard to make a bad sounding system on the coyote

Back on topic, that's an awesome gain, but it's a nice chunk of change...$3k + install.
Yeah I know when you look at the whole picture including the cost of the car it seems much more enticing. I was just speaking of the system itself. For ~$2000 more you can supercharge it. Granted you will still have a stock sounding car, but nowadays I prefer that for a DD, and what a nice sleeper that makes!Yeah..but consider this..that's "only" $3,000 to get a car that is making (estimated) 515 HP and 450 TQ. Throw that on a base GTPP (xplan) and you've got yourself a 515HP street car for what..36,000? That is a steal.
Ran into a SN-95 Cobra with the 4.6. He had a full exhaust or so it sounded and OMG...my car will NEVER sound so good. What a great sounding motor that was.I don't know, man, I think it's much harder to get a good note with these newer cars then it used to be with the older ones. I would think the x they have ready to go because thats what most systems come with, the H most likely is something made on a as ordered basis. What makes the H pipe cost more then the x?
Do it bro ;)I might have to get them for myself![]()
