I'm running 93 only on full catless ARH and really haven't noticed the "smell". Maybe I'm just oblivious to it but nobody else has said anything about it.

In the market for either of these headers. Was dead set on Kooks as I had them on my C6 and can't say enough good things. My question is 02 placement on the ARH. Will they need to be moved? I run e85 or blends of it often. I recently picked up the BMR front cradle brace and am now told it won't clear Kooks. It supposedly clears the ARH headers. I'll sell the brace and go Kooks if need be as I've heard you DO NOT need to relocate the 02's for e85 use. Just Looking for honest opinion if relocation is needed with either manufacturer.
Are the sensors in a 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock or in the more desirable 11 and 1. trying to avoid having to feed the car 02's.We are running E85 in 4 cars with ARH, no issue at all right now.
Nice , do your run e85? And if so did you need to relocate the 02 sensors. If you're interested in what off-road ARHs with a Corsa Extreme catback sounds like:
No need to relocate with ARH, and I run E85 almost exclusively. I'll fill with 91 every 6 trips to the gas stationNice , do your run e85? And if so did you need to relocate the 02 sensors.
Awesome, do you happen to have a picture of the orientation of the 02 sensors once installed? No need to relocate with ARH, and I run E85 almost exclusively. I'll fill with 91 every 6 trips to the gas station
Nope. Sorry man.Awesome, do you happen to have a picture of the orientation of the 02 sensors once installed?
All the pics I've seen of the ARH headers show the O2 sensors in the 3/9 orientation. You might not have problems, but I'd plan on relocating the bungs. It's easy to do by yourself if you have the right tools or just have an exhaust shop do it on the cheap.Awesome, do you happen to have a picture of the orientation of the 02 sensors once installed?

My tuner has done both, we've done the comparison, very little to no difference between the two until the hp really starts to come one. Same in the past when I did my C6 Vette, 1 3/4" work great for bolt-on, even some better low end tq depending on motor size. Once the modding starts, the 7/8" start pulling away. This is a good comparison on the LS3, exact same mods, a catted X-pipe, one car has 1 3/4" and one has 1 7/8" headers, I think the 7/8" made the slightly more power. I'd opt for 1 7/8" if going to really mod the motor, but that's just my experience.Untrue. The 5.0s make better gains with the 1 7/8th almost everywhere in the power band.
