I thought they were sleek looking. Now that I think about it Probe is a cool name just as the Mustang name is. So keeping both the Probe and Mustang at the time I think was good.
I had a conversation with a few guys not too long ago and the topic of what the worst car name was. Everyone unanimously chose the "probe" as easily the worst car name ever to make it the the trunk lid of any vehicle.

I care about infotainment
After test driving the GT PP for 30minutes followed immediately by a non-PP GT both cars handle extremely well compared to the s197s. Going in I knew there would be a difference b/c of IRS but I never knew how big of a difference it would be. Similarly, the difference between PP and non-PP is night and day as well. The non-GT felt classic mustang floaty, just less wheel-hopping and more precise corning but the GT-PP didn't feel floaty at all and truly felt planted/glued to the pavement in a way that sports cars 50%-100% more expensive feel.

I think you pretty much nailed it there. The standard package feels good and handles well, but the Performance Pack makes a big difference. I drove them both back to back and was pleasantly surprised at how big the difference was.

I took a buddy for a ride this weekend and we turned around in a big empty parking lot so I thought I'd show him how much better this new car handled than my 13 GT. I drove in a circle and kept giving it more throttle and it just wouldn't break loose, was so amazed I had to check the accelerometer and it pulled .98g on the left. I think the best I ever got in the 13 was .65g
