Kids these days have no idea what it was like back in the day with our points and condenser cars. If we could have got a 460hp production car from the dealer back then we all would have camped out at the dealership with stolen money.

53 and feel like 23 driving it but 93 after working on it  hardest part of working on it is getting it high enough to be able to see what I'm doing when on the creeper, you bifocal wearers will understand!
I need to get high enough before working on the car, otherwise I do feel like I'm 93!

I hear you just changed my oil yesterday and it's kind of tough crawling around under the car but I saved 100 dollars doing it myself. Dealer wanted almost 150 bucks, oil and filter 47.50 diy!

I'll be 65 pretty soon. You boys in your 50s aren't old...yet!
My 2019 Bullitt and I just love those on-ramps!

54 here. 2019 Bullitt. Actually don't drive it that hard on the street. A few on and off ramps here and there. Save it for autocross and track events

I got a full maintenance package thrown in and I usually do all my own stunts. Didn't know they charged that much!

Don't forget to add the extra height for the belly either!!

Love driving my GT loud and Proud. Killing these idiots in Audi's and Mercedes is a hoot and the obnoxiously loud custom exhaust let's them know to get out of my way.

56 here, and when someone asked in a condescending voice "Is that a mid-life crisis car you bought?". I politely replied, "Thanks, that's great news.... I'm gonna live to 112!"

56 here and have done 100% all my work since owning my 1969 Fastback Mustang in high school to now. I've done things on the street that getting to this age is a true mystery!

No doubt a lot more cautious these days and will actually think before acting..

Short video of when Fox body Mustangs were "it". Some of the ones that were daily driven to work and/or drag raced in the mid 90's. Race/Fix/Work... repeat

Old is a state of mind. Couple weeks until my 55th orbit, and still feel rode hard and put away wet.

Driving this thing a few days a week makes it al(most) all better.

Hey guys Like the title says I'm an old guy [57] But I still drive it like I stole it! Not all the time of coarse but a lot. I bought this car to have fun and it sure as hell is! How many older guys on here drive their cars hard sometimes?
If you're talking only moderately hard, that's just about every curve, corner, and highway ramp I come across when there's nobody in front of me. It doesn't much matter which car I'm driving at the time.

The really hard driving gets saved for HPDE track days.

BTW, I just turned 73.

71 here and I've done the Ford Performance tune and a bunch of steeda suspension parts and I still love to go fast. This is no big deal I knew an 80 year old with a Hayabusa. If you tried to keep up with him you were going to the hospital

62 here and a few trips down the river road in a few parishes here, along with weaving in and out of some light interstate traffic gets the blood pressure up. From the back seat, my 8 year old grandson rates my driving on the curves: "That was a good one, Pop!"

43, not really old, but when I get behind the wheel of my Shelby, I feel and drive like I’m 20 again.
