  1. Wengerd Performance and Tuning

I visit this thread from time to time and it made me think of the date when the Wengerd tune was loaded in my car. It was over a year ago! I initially had three different tunes for the Whipple Stage II setup. Whipple / <three letter company> / Wengerd. Wanted to compare the differences...
  2. Fluctuating/High Oil Pressure - After oil change

Normal - could you describe please? Never going above 80psi? I've changed oil myself a few times since starting this thread and still see 100psi even at part throttle (no boost). Doesn't stay there long, but does still grab attention to see the needle swing that way at a rapid pace to that...
  3. Why did you buy an automatic? (and why I ordered a 6spd)

After driving manuals for 45 years, it was my money, my choice to now relax and actually get to be lazy and enjoy using my right arm/hand on the wheel for a change. Nothing like a Stage II Whipple A10 and hearing/feeling the endless gear changes - bliss! Is it the fastest - nope... is it...
  4. Wengerd Tuned

Just so I'm clear regarding the roll race setup and activity. For those saying that they have it now with forced induction. Are they going to "S" mode and then hitting the paddle shifter to put it in manual mode and it shifts like auto mode at WOT? Or, are they just using "S" mode and not...
  5. Wengerd Tuned

I made the switch a couple months ago to Wengerd Tuning as well. Haven't looked back (was a very reputable tuner) and super satisfied with the tune. Like many have said - the response is almost immediate and feeling like I was the only customer goes a long ways in my book! From startup to WoT...
  6. Advice on Fueling to reach 650-700 rwhp on 18 and up GT

Whipple 3.0 (2020 GT PP1) Stage one upgraded (132mm TB and 3.875 pulley) with Mu52 injectors - still adding timing at 7,500 rpm (no BAP). Have two separate tunes from different well respected tuners and both still add timing. No issues with fueling (93 octane only).
  7. How necessary is it to get the brake pedal recall fixed before a road trip?

To me, it was peace of mind knowing that if the worst scenario happened and could potentially have been prevented that the blame wouldn't be in my corner since Ford did offer a solution. If that solution was ignored, the liability lies on the owner at that point. Never know when a two feet...
  8. Ford/NHTSA Brake recall - anyone got it done?

Completed this a few days ago. Was the brake pedal and backup camera recall (took about 2hrs). Both done and now I can stop running into things in order to stop.......
  9. Oil pressure gauge fluctuating

Went through this after changing my oil (Whipple installed) and concerned that 100psi was very easy to hit with a little throttle input. Answer: working as intended from a lot of knowledgeable folks.
  10. Show me you and your Mustang out having fun in the winter snow!!

Closest it will ever get to playing in the snow! (Ok, for some of you this isn't a lot of snow, but for those of us in S/E Texas - it's a lot!!)
  11. A few questions on switching from Whipple tune to PBD.

Went the same route. I contacted Whipple and they sent a stock tune in a day. Just have to contact their support and provide some info.
  12. Does anybody know if the parts are available for the brake pedal recall?

I went to the dealership in early November and was put on a list once they have the parts. No call back yet.
  13. 2020 Mustang GT - Curated Mods

With the correct tires and brake pads for a road course, you will be very surprised by the performance and it will come down to the driver level of experience. Stick a novice in the GT350 and Pro in the GT - GT wins. Driver mod makes all the difference. I would take the car out as-is to...
  14. Whipple.. stock or custom tune?

OP: You've been provided A-Z thoughts and comments regarding staying with the Whipple or a custom tune. Providing real world experience between the two -I would bet my 30 years of experience type "butt-dyno" over anyone else that hasn't provided any real-world comparisons besides bench racing...
  15. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Finished off the theme of the car with the tail lights. Vast improvement over the red with the Magnetic Metallic (IMHO). Still very, very bright and a subtle change, but dramatic difference.
  16. Whipple.. stock or custom tune?

I ordered the Stage 1 and installed it a month or so ago. The Whipple tune is as advertised and cannot tell the difference between stock and their tune. Power? I gets up and goes, but having had many supercharged cars before, I knew there was a lot left on the table. Contacted PBD and...
  17. Magnetic Metallic vs. Velocity Blue vs. Rapid Red

My favorite so far out of the 14 Mustangs I've owned!
  18. Horesepower needed to beat a bike

Great pic! Will definitely miss TWS. Over 20 years - had about 1800 laps around that place.
  19. Why Ford why.

Just wait until they make an electric car sound like a V8 but only in the inside. Or is this already a thing?
