Checked tonight and I saw my order went to "in production"! I ordered in mid June and got my VIN not long afterward. My window sticker isn't up yet but that's ok. That little ticker bar is moving!

Ask him for a copy of your VOC (Vehicle Order Confirmation)... he can email it to you. On that will be the order number (top left) and the dealer code (top right).

Then we can find out all sorts of stuff... before he tells you. ;)

Order no:8000
Dealer: F24017
Priority: 25

It's actually showing up as an F250. I'm guessing it's part of a group order the dealer placed? VOC shows everything I requested.

If that's the case... doing a source code on the order number might show all under the order..... looks like a stock order

You can find your dealers code by going to ford fleet site and searching dealers. The code is listed with the dealers name in the results. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact site name.

I actually don't have either. We for the most part did everything through email back at the end of June. I've bought from them before and this was the first time I've ever ordered so I didn't think to ask. I've only hit him up about once every month or so asking for an update. I had asked for it last month but he seemed to just ignore that part and just assured me it was getting closer to seeing actual progress. Still no vin this week. I'll ask for it tomorrow. Thanks...
I looked through the html source code on that dealer and order number. There are no 2015 Mustangs of any type embedded in that code. You should really insist on getting a copy of the DORA and send a pm to the @FordService user on this form to check your order for you. Normally it is Tricia behind that ID but others from Ford Service step in occasionally. @FordService works on Twitter as well.

I did the same and was about to say the same thing... no 2015 Mustangs in the code.

I'm tracking a bunch of Retail cars.

4 of 7 that ordered on May 20th got VINs.

3 of 5 on May 21st.

2 of 7 on May 22nd.

14 of 32 that ordered in May.

12 of 22 that ordered in June.

24 of 40 that ordered in July.

8 of 16 that ordered in August.

7 of 14 that ordered in September.

65 of 124 in all.

This is not to try to make you feel better or worse... just to point out that Ford has nothing against you. Right or wrong, it's just the way their algorithm works to choose the Retail orders to scheduled.

dam, so those of us who got a VIN are part of a 50/50 roll of the dice it would seem...maybe i'll hit the river boat with those odds! lol

Wonder what the numbers would look like if you subtracted PP's and verts. Seems like they were caught off guard with the PP orders... they are always low on parts for em.

You da' man. :)

Here's to hoping I will be one of those 16 left in July scheduled on Thursday. Sure hope it comes true. I feel like I'm waiting for a lung transplant or something. First world problems I know. ;)

None of those orders are convertibles. But I didn't keep track of which ones had the PP.

No, that list has nothing to do with odds. The factors used to determine allocations are not shown. If the same chart was able to place historical volume sales to each order, you would see 100% or close to it for high volume dealers and 0% or close to it for low volume dealers. That's the way the numbers rolled for Arizona dealerships last week. The odds of your order being scheduled depends entirely on which dealership you used.

In Arizona, if you used Peoria, Camelback, AutoNation, or San Tan you were scheduled.
