2015 Mustang Retail Order Statistics

I have been keeping track of many Retail orders to try to better understand the process from order to delivery (and to kill time while waiting). So far, from the help of many of you, my sample-size is up to 168 cars spanning 32 of the 50 States.

I can "pivot-table" just about any of the information, but I have attached two of the tables that I created.

The first is the dreaded, who-has-received-a-VIN table, showing the number of Retail orders that have received a VIN in each of the months. This is not meant to start any more debates - only to show factual info. I will update this thread with a new table when hopefully everybody gets a VIN in "Round 2" on 10/16!

The second is just for fun. It's the number of body styles and colors with percentages of each. The green cell is just the highest percentage. Magnetic GT Premiums are currently the most popular.

So, to date, a little more than 1 out of 8 retail ordered Mustangs are Magnetic GT Premium Fastbacks. And a little more than 1 in 5 of all body styles ordered so far are Magnetic.

I sure hope that's a case of "small sample syndrome"!

I do a lot of metrics and statistics for Disney, so this stuff is right up my alley... and strangely enjoyable.

Ha the girl I sit next to in my office is known as the Disney Guru for anyone in our company who comes from out of state or does anything Disney related. When to go, where to stay, what time of year, where to park all of it.

Can't wait to hit these shows up, it's so nice out this morning I wish I was out washing/driving my new car.
