Funny, I have collected 1/2 teaspoon in only 280 miles on my naturally aspirated GT.......

I get it, some people don't wanna spend unnecessary money and to some this mod is unnecessary but to me and 100's more people the thought of keeping the intake track nice and clean is well worth the short money on an oil catch can.

You obviously aren't going to buy one but why spew useless comments and confuse people who don't understand exactly what one does or why it might be worth it (for them) to spend some money on it.

You made the right choice and any car with a fun go peddle needs one.

It only takes a few miles for the oil to start building up. We are running these cars full tilt so not your typical DD.

No, you have to cut the hoses with Bob's, but it is much more effective. I bought an OEM hose from Rockauto for less than $10 to get the ends. Bob's comes with hose and clamps.:ford:

Don't know if posted before or not, but I found this video comparing Bob's, JLT, and Shelby oil separator.
This is an interesting test.

Looks like a test done by Bob's, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Yea, I'm dubious of the conditions of the test. Obviously you aren't going to see 1+oz of oil blow by in mere seconds otherwise all catch cans would be worthless without a gallon size waste container.

It seems like a test specifically engineered to saturate the filter and cause the other two to fail under abnormal conditions.
Probably rigged or biased in some sort of way...
I liked the test where someone took a JLT and Bobs in line & then Bobs and JLT.

The JLT->Bobs, both had oil in them.
The Bobs->JLT, Bobs had oil.

I don't remember if it was dry but it was a clear indication that the Bobs was superior in catching oil.

I will probably be inclined to use the Ford racing one. Provided some more information becomes available for it.

I am not a fan of JLT stuff. It looks good, and the products are made of quality materials imo, it's just that from what I've seen. The separator doesn't work as well as others. I guess I just don't like the JLT marketing. Don't really know how to explain it. To each their own really. I know plenty are content with their products.
