How many gpm (gallons per minute) is our stock pump? Ive yet to see any upgrade gpm pumps, only gears. With the exception of Ford racing one that is on the 13 cobra jets that works on coyotes. It has billet gerotors and mentions increased flow but no numbers. Ive notice no mention of increased flow from Mmrs hurricane nor does Tss make a full on pump for the 5.0

Pump flow is dictated more by the housing and the pick-up tube than the gear itself. This is because only factory housing are currently available, to increase pump output the gear either needs to be made a larger diameter or thicker diameter, which, unfortunately is not possible using the factory housing. For those looking to increase flow however we do offer a higher flow pick-up tube, we tested it on the flow bench and the MMR tube flows 9% more that the factory tube. So, something like that is a great start for those looking to improve the oiling system.

They can be ordered here: http://www.modularmotorsportsracing...ge=product_info&cPath=4_30_49&products_id=921

You can see the difference between the factory pick-up and MMR pick up below:

thanks. Thats useful info. At what point powerwise does this need to ne upgraded for more flow? Im looking for 165-170 traps personally. Also do you have any factory gpm numbers with the OE tube that can be shared?
