‘Never heard of it’ doesn’t mean it’s not a warrantable problem. I get cars all the time that it’s the first time I’ve seen the problem. I still fix ‘em.

This is me, I have it as well. I couldn't figure out what it was, but it looks like oil. I also thought it's a water leak when I use my pressure washer to wash the car - maybe? I'm too lazy to take it in and watch them take apart everything that a little wipe fixes.
It's oil. I've never pressure washed my car, car washed it or anything like that. It happened while sitting over the summer.

Rain sensor…?
You GT guys have all the cool gadgets!
There is about a dozen things you folks get as an option that we don’t.

Here is a list of all the cool stuff we have that you don’t:
1: Flat Plane Crank VooDoo
2: Uhhhh……….. there has to be something else?

The S550 is one GREAT Mustang platform for sure….!!!!!
Curious as to the next platform… can they make it even better?
More cool gadgets, more to go wrong.

That's blinker fluid. Most newer cars put the blinker fluid pan behind the rear view mirror to increase photoelectric viscosity and reduce cromulant transients.

What about the EMF generated by the blinker ?

This seems to be a common occurrence with the option package that includes the rain sensing wipers.

Aside from the thread Bikeman315 hyperlinked, I think there was also another thread on here about the same issue. The problem with trying to find it is using magical powers to determine what the OP put as the subject line.... LMAO...

I just checked and the rain sensing wipers still work. I think I'll clean off the oil and see if it leaks some more.
