I had em on both sides with the GT500 . Is the driver side not an issue on the Coyote?
Folks that installed on both sides found little to none on the driver side. I have had a Ford Performance one on my 2020 passenger side since nearly new and it catches about 1oz/1000mi.

I know the catch cans were beneficial on my 2013 GT500. Kept the intercooler clean from varnish and build up and valves clean.

On N/A Coyotes before D/I the catch can prevented build up on top of the valves.

Since D/I keeps the valves clean on 18+ Coyotes.

Can anyone tell me a reason an oil catch can would be needed on the 2018+ Coyotes?
I installed both side cans ony 2019 GT PP1. After a few hundred miles their always oil in the driver's side can.

A little strange, most get oil on the passenger side. But since I'll be tracking mine often, probably install both sides. Thx.

Wait a Minute, I will go check later to verify, I could have my sides mixed up, you know Covid, snow, lok ness monster and such. Just never think about it much.

On a N/A car the only time the driver side will get oil is under WOT. If you race on a road course having both sides will be worth it. Street driving passenger side only is needed.

If boosted you need to use both sides.

I put both on my GT due to I know After rebuilding engine for 40 years what oil mist does to the air intake track, head ports valves, piston carbon build ETC with oil mist.

If you are spending lots of time at WOT then yes use both. But with a properly functioning PCV system the drivers side will only see vacuum at anything but WOT.

I dumped about 5 oz. out of my pass. side today (UPR) when doing an oil change; 2,500 miles. Supercharged, but it's always a good idea on the passenger side if you drive it like you're supposed to. I don't worry about the driver side. I don't track and the driver side amount is insignificant. But, some believe 1 drop is too much and run on both sides...to each their own.

Personally for me. At some point prior to going FI, I will install or make an actual vented tank to run both side vents into and not connect any crank case vent hoses into my engine air intake system.

The stock 2nd and 3rd gen intake manifolds also have the charge motion control flaps in the manifold. I prefer to keep gunk off of those moving pieces.

The driver's side is a waste of money unless you are boosted. Don't bother.

Call it Insurance for just in Case or shits and giggles. LOL
If it makes you sleep better at night. :)

You might get a few drops if you constantly redline your car or your track it really hard on a road course.
