Oil Catch Can FTW (10k mi amount)

My passenger side UPR catch can has picked up 1 oz of oil (30 ml) in the 3k miles since I installed it. Car had just 821 miles on the odo at that time.

Anything I can do to keep my engine clean (including keeping contaminated oil out of the intake system) I'm in.

I lived up north in the colder climates for years and between the condensation, gases from the combustion chamber, regardless of whether through the PVC, rings, or valves, I've had my fill of crud in an engine regardless of type.

My desire is to minimize MPG degradation over my vehicles life due to intake and combustion chamber build up, so I use only top tier fuel (which may even minimize the need for a catch can, actually).

Anyway, I never want to tear another engine down again; it's too costly and too much work at my age. And I want this to be my last car, reliable until the day I can no longer drive. Everyone's perspectives and priorities are different, so do what fits in you.

I have been hesitant to post this.. but now I have a question...

Coyote is both Direct and Port Injection.. Port when cold and switches to Direct when warm... so is that preventing valve build up?

... there was a post way back which mapped when Port and DI came online and they work together if I remember correctly at varying percentages, not necessarily one when cold and the other when hot. I'm sure CobraJet will dig it up. ;)

Obviously you never tracked your car and have no clue why a separator AND better valves covers are needed on BOTH sides when pushing the car
Separators do not pressurize the system…. Where do you got this idea from ????
Denial of warranty due to using separators is 100% bs….
Do you have any facts or examples ????

Yep, i did blow my engine on the track and my friendly dealer replaced it under warranty
Notice the gt500 aluminum valves covers on the table
