How hard is the header install? Could you do it yourself?

From what I have read, installing headers on the s550 is not easy (6-8 hours). Aside from that, I honestly wouldn't have time to install them myself until late November or early December due to my schedule. I don't really want to wait that long to have them installed.

I just watched that video on the install.... it does look like it sucks!!!

I did. I've also sent him several pm's. The shop that Beefcake is affiliated with quoted me at $760. Paul's Automotive quoted me at $800.

Me too. I've done headers before on the s197, not hard just time consuming. Haven't done them on the s550 yet but some say it's a little easier than the s197 so that's encouraging lol.

Anyone on the forum have work done at RDP? Just curious. RDP's installation prices seem very reasonable. There installation price on headers is almost $300 cheaper than shops in Cincinnati. I have not had any work done by them....I've just been gathering price qoutes.

No experience with RDP but Finish Line Performance in Milford takes care of all my car needs. Brian has always been more than fair on the labor charges but more importantly, him and his crew excel in customer service, attention to detail and a job well done. I drive 45 mins one way to FLP and it's worth it.

Yep, we do about 5-6 events a year.

Next year will be at Circleville Raceway Park cart track, due to Columbus Motor Speedway closing down.

We are trying to get a rain date at CMS, as well as a date at CRP to close out this year.

Hopefully we have 1 more autocross for 2016.

You don't guys run in the rain ? It looks like it's going to be fine on Sunday, we (Cincy SCCA + Western OH SCCA) are running in Wilmington as always. Rain adds fun ;-)
