Well that sucks, I changed jobs and cant access stangatx site now. Bummer...
Yeah I can't get to it at work either. I had BlueCoat classify it as "Vehicles" but it doesn't wanna let it through still, mainly because a lot of sites that use the .tk domain are experimental, prank, or malicious.

Hell I can't even get it to resolve. Something is funky about how that site is setup.

Today I just tried the track mode. Never thought my V6 could be like that from factory. Love it! If someone doesn't wanna spend money in a tuner I recommend to enable the track mode in your As-Built Data!

I need to get the stuff to modify as-built data or find someone around who tinkers in it. I'm curious what this will do for a manual. Did you test it out with your HVAC blasting, or find a resolution to that?

Not to derail this thread, but if you haven't done the GT TB on your V6 yet, its a must.

I'm quite tempted, especially with my GT, but I don't have the OBD2 adapter. I wonder if the CANBUS.apk file holds the secret to changing what that toggle does?

Still AC blasting lol I just turn it off and it works for me. For the GT TB I might do it whenever I finish my turbo build :D if you were near me I would've told you to come over and do it for you. However, Ohio is a long drive to come lol. I might go to TX2K17 I was invited to run my car since it's (not really yet) the world's first rear mount turbo V6 on an S550 lol. With all the crap that happened to my car I wasn't able to finish it on time :( :tsk: anyways, if I go over and I don't know if you will I could do it for you

Not a bad idea! I'll check it out whenever I have time. But I think it's a hardware issue though. We "might" be able to tell on the software part to ignore to command though...

Using Nova as a default launcher is kinda useless, except in a testing situation. The native apps only launch by default in the stock launcher and the "S550_Launcher" (aka dark theme)

The Dark Theme Launcher is great (in my opinion) the only thing that needs to change is the weather only allows you to select regions in China.
What is this S550 Launcher you speak of?

I am rocking Nova as my default right now, I have widgets setup for audible and spotify plus my calendar and weather. Once we figure out Torque I can add gauges to the desktop too!
And that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. I'll have to play a bit tonight.

Ohh yeah, I remember that now. Do you need to be rooted to install it, or just pull the APK from Stang's site and install it?
First make sure you have another launcher running or else you might brick the unit. Install Nova. Uninstall index something and install mine

Lot of people aren't aware that it can be activated on the base model by double-clicking the trac control button. I nearly always have it in sport mode and steering. Also, if you hold the "ok" button when you start it and continue to hold it a few seconds after start-up, the digital screen will run diagnostics. If you toggle through you'll get to a digital speedometer that can be kept on.
