You were probably already on it... If you're looking to change HVAC C to F or KM/H to MPH then it's in the advanced menu that it'll show up to change the options.

flash the update and at the end when it's booted stay press on RST for 5 secs and you should be good to go

I wonder how much different the drive modes are in comparison to having a pedalmax. I assume there's more then just a throttle response adjustment. I'd hate to buy that $80 ODBmax II tool (or whatever it is) and find out the modes didn't make any improvements in addition to the pedalmax.

Come on StangATX, you should drive to Ohio. Go visit the rock and roll hall of fame, make a vacation out of it

I tried both the USB and WiFi options on the unit.

And I tried uninstalling Drivemode on my phone, and just noticed that the headunit re-installs it when I hook it up or hit retry after the error every single time.

Just got to checking this. Same issue for me. Running the Feb2017 update. Developer options are on and USB debugging is enabled. I did get prompted to allow another BT device on my phone, but wasn't provided a PIN on anything, so I tried 0000. I received no error and it shows I'm connected and I get BT audio. Whenever I plug my USB cord into the front USB jack, it fails on step 2. Drive mode keeps popping up, I uninstalled it and Drivemode came back. So maybe it is a 7.1.1 thing. Oh well, no loss in my book.

Also, in my manual, double tapping the traction button does nothing but turn traction control off then on. Unless you mean turning advancetrac off as being the same as (holding TCS for 5 seconds) as being the same as the autos "Sport" mode.

I think he means what wires are for the MIC that hook into the base unit, so he can tap into them.
