It's likely going to be on the end user to apply updates for now, but I'm trying to get them to do it before they ship.

I wonder if we could modify the system files directly on the Tesla unit and change the path to look for an update. From there we can just host it on one of my servers and y'all could get the auto-update feature for the unit.

This is what I'm working on right now:

1.In the Phone menu, it says "DAIL" instead of "DIAL"
2.All SWC's function properly, but the Voice Command can not be programmed to OK Google.
3. Change the startup/boot picture. (I think I already have this fixed)
4. The small gauges on the unit show Kilometers, changing that to Miles.
5. The temperature is displayed in Celsius, it needs to be Fahrenheit.
6. Phone mirroring does not work with Android 7.0

The boot picture has to be 768x1024 to be used on the unit. I'm trying to find a decent picture to use, but all the good ones are landscape (1024x768) So if anyone comes across anything, or has ideas, let me know! If you get a good Portrait-oriented picture of your car and want it to be the boot screen, that's very doable.

They said they can provide Silver, Black, Blue, or Red units for those interested. Anything other than black is $50 more. I'm waiting on pictures of the other colors.
