If it helps others I also reached out to RTR who very promptly replied. They recommend Ford factory torque. 👍

So just a sanity check, thwse will be my first set of aftermarket wheels ever. Do you torque the spline nuts up to the same torque as standard? I'm imagining so? Thanks.
I would torque mine to 70lbs when i first got wheels. Now i just let the ugga dugga machine take care of it.

Never trust Ford’s torque specs, here is my recommendation from another thread :

Six and a half Ugga Dugga’s with red loctite for me, works a treat and I’ve never had a loose wheel nut … :like:

For the open lug nut gang, I would still recommend six and a half Ugga Dugga’s, but skip the red loctite and go with touch of stick weld on the back of the nut … :like:

What's a good set of black lugs to get for these, ideally under $50.

Anybody know what spacer setup I would need to bring the RTR Tech 7 front wheel more in line with the rear wheel setup in relation to the fender? The front wheel seems to be tucked in about .5 to .75 inches further than the rear. Squared setup 19X9.5 with 33 offset.

I think a 15mm should work.

If by your comments, you’re looking for 1/2” that would be 12.7mm

Keep in mind there is 25.4mm in an inch. I would also go for extended lugs if you look at pushing for the 3/4” spacer

Thanks for the info! Those numbers I shot out are just a guess from eyeballing it. Wasn't sure if there was a direct way to measure it or someone had already figured it out.

There’s a fitment thread on here and there are also fitment calculators online that are of immense help.

I don’t have experience with anything less than 10” wide wheels but a 10-15 mil spacer should be fine, their cheap and there’s no risk of running out of threads.

Thanks! I'll buy a few and see what works best!

Hey everyone, I’ve got some RTR Tech 7’s 20x9 all the way around. When I bought them, I just had them put on and balanced without an alignment. While at full lock, I thought I could hear some slight rubbing on the front at very slow speeds. I bought this car used, and to my knowledge it is at stock ride height. Recently, I got an oil change and tire rotation and the inner third of my front tires were bald. So I went ahead and bought 4 new tires, 265/35/20, and had them installed along with an alignment today. Once it was done, the mechanic came out and said he thought the rear tires were just slightly too wide because he could hear some slight rubbing on the rear, but didn’t say anything about the front. Once I left, I could still hear what I think is slight rubbing on the front at full lock, but nothing from the rear. Once I got home, I looked around behind all four tires and couldn’t see anywhere evidence of rubbing anywhere. In the past, I worked at my father’s auto shop and we have restored a few vehicles so I like to think I am at least slightly mechanically inclined. Was this mechanic today just incorrect in his assessment? All of my research online and in this thread tells me they should fit with no issues. If they fit with no rubbing, any ideas to what the front rubbing noise could be? Thanks in advance
