Tech 5's but have the same offset and backspace as the Tech 7's, 33mm/168mm. 20x9.5 with 285/35 Firestone 500s, stock suspension. The driveway has a bit on slant to it so it adds a bit of fender gap vs when it is parked flat.

Did you have any issues with the 285’s rubbing up front?

No rubbing issues. I would have done 275 because on a 9.5" wheel you don't really get any contact patch advantage but I wanted the smidge extra height it gave with a 35 profile.

Asked in the Tech 5 thread but didn't get any reply. I'm guessing that these will be the same. Has anyone replaced their center caps on these wheels? Looking for a mustang logo instead.

So I've got Steeda struts and shocks with dual rate springs. I'm lowered on all 4 corners 3/4 (0.75) of an inch. Thinking about the 9.5 squared 20s like the gentleman with the blue 5.0 a few pages back has on. Don't know if anyone has the same set up, doubt it but will it rub or will I need spacers?

Doubt it. 9.5" is a fairly tame wheel width.

For example on my street set up I run a 20x10 and on my track set up I run a 19x11 square 305/30 and I don't have any issues on those springs.

Also, a lot of those companies like RTR, Project, SVE etc etc tailor their offset offerings to the s550 to guarantee fitment.

Thanks for the inside. How are you running 19x11 on 305s all the way around if you don't mind me asking?

No probs man, that's what I'm here for.

You can run it 2 ways. with offset but you delete the square option (~24-ish offset) or with a 25mm spacer to retain square capabilities.

Here's more info on the subject:

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

thanks brother. I'm thinking about that squared 20x9.5 set up for mine on 275/35/20s on all four corners. I was wondering about those hubs with the extended studs for awhile too.

You'll be just fine with the OEM hubs with that wheel/tire combo. Post a pic when you get them installed and enjoy the ride :like:

I'll be scrolling through your youtube btw. Always looking for channels to help me out. Especially since you've got steeda parts on your s550.

How's it goin guys I've been on stock wheels and tires for a few months now, looking to upgrade to a staggered 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 setup with the Tech 7s. The tire combo I'm considering is 275/35 (or 275/40 not too sure yet) for the front and 305/35 for the rear. Does anyone have any insight for whether there's any rubbing or drive quality issues with this setup? I'm on stock suspension but hope to get a set of coilovers in the near future.

That's a pretty conservative set up. shouldn't have any problems at all.

Before I switched to the squared 10.5”setup of the RTR Tech 7s I had staggered9.5/10.5.

With 275/35 on the front and 305/35 in the rear. No issues.

When I went square 10.5 with studs and spacers I started by running 305/35 MPSS.

I now have MP4S in 305/30 and like it a lot more. The weight loss from 35 to 30 was very noticeable.
