Weather forecast doesn’t look good for the 6th. What happens if it’s raining all day?

Drive in the rain. We had one session in the rain, light, and it was a blast.

Yeah, I didn’t think hurricane (unpronounceable) would turn inland that far. But driving through Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee yesterday highlighted the possibility of rain, all damn day long. I guess I’m just wondering if we’re going to have to switch out to TSL Thornbirds or SuperSwampers for the afternoon session and maybe just do some serious mud bogging? j/k

Stopped by today to see where to go tomorrow. It looks like they were putting the names on the cars

You are going to have a blast. Enjoy your time. I sure did.

Tacos 4 Life is a great place with an outside patio. Also a great pizza place inside the mall, Alino's Pizza. It is huge, so you can social distance.

Take more pictures than you think you need and don't forget some video. I shared a stack of pictures with some of the guys today, it was a blast talking about all the fun we had. Drink a lot of fluids if its hot, you will be happier if you do.

Oh man I had a blast. I was in the lead foot gray #6 car after the slalom course I was put in the fastest group. coming out of turn 11 hard on the throttle shift into 4th
I hit about 125mph on the back strech when I was directly behind the instructor. After graduation the instructor said there was another class available for purchase 1 whole track day and recommended the cup 2 tire upgrade "much much faster" than today's runs

Got back yesterday from 2 days in Charlotte. Awesome program! I was surprised how steep the oval banking felt during our initial slow orientation laps. It is a huge, impressive facility. I was concerned that the instructor lead/follow sessions might feel limiting, but they were plenty fast. It provides a lot of practice allowing you to learn the recommended line. My solo runs were at about the same speed as the lead/follow. They really know their stuff.
