Installed. About to go for a nice drive and see what kind of difference I can feel...
So far, I love the look and feel of it.

That's something I'd love in mine - maybe white on black though... Are these knobs only for manuals?

Worth every penny. I love mine. The powdercoated feel is great. Add a good sunshade and tint and the knob doesnt get hot at all, just warm, no matter the temp.

Just ordered this exact knob, after months of agonizing deliberations lol.

I was leaning towards weighted but could not find anything of a high weight that would not be a heat/cold sink, be significantly larger than stock, and reasonably priced. I loved the Boss302 knob I had in my '13...the billiard ball material, look and feel appeal to me. As for the weight, I rationalized that I had previously put a lighter knob on my RX-8 and actually liked the enhanced mechanical feedback I got from the lighter knob.

Worst case scenario and I don't like it I'm only out $50.
what knob is this? me likey.

I agree, $135 is already high. If I added the Gunmetal finish (which I had considered), with all the other options I had,...that would of boosted the price to $215:)

Rich
Just ordered the same Lathewerks piston style shifter as you with silver shift pattern engraving and the gunmetal base

Probably be here about 2 mths ahead of the vehicle!
Boredom and impatience can be a costly combination

Reading that BRZ thread, the guys in there mention Flossy can make auto or manual. YMMV, but worth shooting an email to them:

For more ideas, the BRZ guys have a giant thread with tons of knobs:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17153

I was looking into some of the other companies they use. They don't have Mustang knobs listed outright, but would probably make them if asked.
...
FYI for all, the BRZ threads and the '15 mustang threads on the shift knob are exactly the same. Only difference is the depth of the reverse lockout ring (The mustang needs a deeper counterbore hole for it).

So if a company machines them for a BRZ, should be very little work on their part to modify it to work on a mustang.

Lathewerks steel in burnt bronze/blue. 440g. Hard to get a good picture showing the color. It's pretty cool in person.

Great communication and service; top notch quality.

Great looking shifter. Have you scalded your hand on it yet?

If I ever change from my 50yrs white ball, I will be contacting this company. Everything I have seen from them is top notch.

Not yet:) I'm that guy that always makes sure to park with my windshield away from the sun! Everything else is tinted.
