lol yeah, same.

Although about that whole "not getting hot" thing, I had a shorty in my last car and even with 20% tint, UV reflecting, that thing was still borderline untouchable for a few minutes in the summer after sitting in a lot all day at work.

But it was so very awesome feeling the rest of the time, I just didn't care, and even bought another now!

Theoretically my custom shorty should ship in a week, can't wait!

The grip tape really just adds texture and, well... grip.

As far as acting like cooling fins or something, it's still a massive steel ball under a thin coating, so it's going to get hot no matter what after sitting in a really hot car for a few hours, soaking it in.

It obviously won't be as hot as touching the bare metal, so that's likely what Flossy is going for with their "cooler effect".

Yes it's expensive, but I was like WTF I spend all this money on other crap, why not this piece of craftsmanship. I like a lot of the other knobs too, the Boomba knob looks nice also and much cheaper.

That's cool man cause it's the nicest knob I've seen yet and I'm probably gonna end up biting the bullet and getting one. It's just that I saw the $135 base price, which was already kinda high compared to the others, and then realized they nickel and dime you for every little extra on top of that which put me off a bit.

No, it is the Brushed finish, stainless steal.

Gunmetal finish looks nice though for sure.

That's cool man cause it's the nicest knob I've seen yet and I'm probably gonna end up biting the bullet and getting one. It's just that I saw the $135 base price, which was already kinda high compared to the others, and then realized they nickel and dime you for every little extra on top of that which put me off a bit.

I agree, $135 is already high. If I added the Gunmetal finish (which I had considered), with all the other options I had,...that would of boosted the price to $215

You guys are lucky you don't have to pay in NZD$$$ plus freight to the bottom of the world, and our exchange rate has headed south in recent weeks against the USD$

However, to me the shifter is so intrinsic to the interior and the driving experience that its worth the cost over the long term.
Still agonising over having 3 knurls on the black hybrid piston top , or just have the top fully knurled like Blackdogs
Any thoughts?

545gram shift knob is AMAZING omg. For anyone with a light knob under 300 I feel bad for you because you don't realize just how awesome it feels. I did have a problem with the engraving though :( all the gear numbers are lined up except for the 6 on the bottom the placement is off and it drives me nuts.

We will see what he offers to do Monday to fix it.

Same here. The Gt350 steering wheel is for sale thru ford. I heard Tuesday shifter would b available sometime this month. Hopefully a link goes up when it does.

Yep its amazing!! Can't recommend making the switch to a heavy knob ...I had 350gram before and thought it was awesome but this is better
