Anybody ever had the Flossy Snowball Heavyweight before? I like the weight and color but am unsure about texture/comfort.

Well it finally arrived! I got my Lathe werks knob in the mail today, unfortunately right after I got to work. :frusty: I got my room mate to send pictures to my phone and it is absolutely perfect! I can't, for my life, get the pictures to come through. I try to send them to my work email, and it fails, I try to upload them through my phone and the webpage crashes. I guess I'm just hyping it up now lol. As soon as I can get it to work I will post pictures, hopefully of it installed. :D
Nice! Can't wait to see yours installed. My Barton shifter will be glad to get a new Lathe werks hat on!

Here is a picture of the knobs we will be offering. They will come in our 4 colors of red, blue, black, or clear as pictured. They are made from 7075 alum and can be ordered either bare or with shift pattern. Price is $65 or we can do any custom engraved knobs for $120. If you are interested shoot me a PM. We have a few clear in stock and will be making some more soon.

Nice Vtec.

More Pics! More Pics!

Looks aweseom. Hows it feel shifting?
It surprised me. Notchiness is pretty much gone. The weight really smoothed out the shifting experience in this car. Its a piece of art. I'm trying to get Chris (owner of lathewerks) to shave off about an 1/8" from the bottom so it can sit a little lower.

Can you even reach the lockout with your hand on the top? It looks too tall

I can but I have long fingers. I did address that issue with Chris. Unfortunately I am deploying and don't have the time to take measurements and send the knob back for slight modifications. It works fine for me but I know for others it'll be an issue.

So here is the ball from CJPP that requires the adapter, sitting next to the stock knob. I'm not happy with that amount of rise. I do love the new ball, and the look/size of it.

I'm going to modify the orange ball to accept the adapter (recessed into it). So it'll sit at the stock height. Actually just barely higher cause the ball itself is larger in diameter.

These balls are hollow. Yea. And light weight. So I figure while I'm recessing it in and filling it with epoxy, I can add weight to it.
