Here's a link. They don't have 2015 mustang on the site yet, so I will be a guinea pig but they have all the dimensions required so it should fit. The focus St and Fiesta St forums have a few guys with these knobs and they love them. There are even more on the Subaru forums.
Was following your lead...I guess its on to Lathewerks since I don't want an adapter as well.

That Hybrid Piston shifter knob looks awesome. Also 240 gms...almost double the OEM knob.

Is that the one you got VTEC?

I might try out Flossy's heavy weight shorty knob. It's white, 500 grams and they do custom engraving. Kinda like the textured idea for grip, although leather would be even better.

I had one of these for my Si, it does come with a nice weight but the texture isn't that great imo. To answer the question if any others from them fit I don't believe so atm. Yes, I'm a shift knob whore lol.:headbonk:

I was absolutely torn on that one actually lol. I really liked that one but it is damn expensive and I didn't want to risk the weight not being up to par so I went full SS piston. For $3 they'll throw in a custom sock to avoid grabbing a scolding hot knob. I also read on other forums that they over quoted the weights and seeing as though they'd need to remove more material for the lock out, I had my suspicions that this would surely be the case there.

This one is from Speeddawg.com, it has the cutout on the bottom for the reverse lockout, so basically plug&play, no adapter needed...

How did you get that yellow trim around the whole entertainment system? I haven't been able to find a thread for it

Installed my Boomba Racing shift knob on Saturday, I ordered on the 4th and got it on the 6th..pretty quick since I chose the cheapest shipping.

Anyway, the ford knob definitely was heavier than what I would expect for a stocker but the boomba had a noticeably heavier feel to it. Overall the shifts feel good, the extra weight gives a little more leverage when going into gear and it helps to get through some of the notchy feeling/resistance. Ive noticed that I seem to be rowing through the gears a little easier and shifting seems to be somewhat "smoother".. I am glad I went with it over the 50 year knob for sure. Just make sure you have some locktite as the shift pattern on the ball doesnt line up perfect if you thread it on as tight as it will go. I also found out that a lockwasher thats big enough to fit over the threads but small enough to not hit the edges of the reverse lockout (when pulled up) can work too. it just kind of sits on top of the non-threaded part and it provides enough tension so that the knob stays in place even if not threaded all the way on. The washer did not impede the lockout mechanism at all so it worked out great

CJPP weight

I've seen some comments about the weight of the CJPP knobs - seems like they're lighter.

How do they feel? I like the look but not sure I want a lighter one.

Thanks.

The cj pony knob is lighter and you feel more of the trans. If that makes sense. It doesn't bother me though

I want that white CJ one. Was going to buy one today and have it on the shelf to help me with the wait for my Mustang. Christmas 2015 or Spring 2016.

$90 fair enough but then $35 for the cheapest shipping then the odds of getting stung for 20% VAT and 10% import duty.

That's about $164.

I hope some UK and European traders will start stocking bits and pieces for the new Mustang.....when it finally gets here.
