lol @ OPG being required for FI.

So much fear mongering with them. They are insurance, not a requirement. Use logic when applying advice, which requires additional investigation like use case.

And respect. Why logic in your context is relative to your usage.

I have seen enough engine failures to care otherwise -- with the upgrade $ being utterly trivial.

Respect is given until otherwise proven to be undeserved. Fear mongering with definitive word choices when recommending is cause for removal of said "respect", due to how it propagates a misconception, leading to further and further acceptance of an opinion stated as fact.

Opinion: I believe that OPGs are extremely important for any S550 going FI due to the protection they provide on the increased demand of the factory oil system.

Stated as fact: OPGs are a must if going FI.

"Trivial" only when you are either A) Breaking down the engine to the point where you would remove the timing chain B) Have a shop that is doing this to that degree and will charge you minimal cost to swap OPG out.

The fact that you need to list out that you have an "Enhanced Security Pkg" and that you assume the Tremec XL is a must to be swapped out for the stock MT-82 when you yourself aren't even FI is all I need to know.

TY, peanut gallery.

EDIT: Spelling.

I did the OEM fron conversion to GT350 from GT PP2 '19 --prompted by a misfortune.

When I came looking for info here about this, took me a while to uncover family members who had done it:

Feel free to share more links if you know of them, so that we collect here for our benefit.

I ordered most of the parts from Auto Nation Ford White Bear Lake, Akins Ford did the labor.
Total parts + tax came to about $10-11K, before core refunds.
The only 2 snags as reported to me where: 1) wiring harness, and 2) passenger side cooling brake ducts, as a reservoir is directly in the way. Both were easily resolved.

Will post all pictures shortly.

BTW, I will be selling GT OEM front parts that are in pristine condition, and the Cup 2 OEM 305R19 tires (15 miles on them).

OEM GT350 front lights and wiring harness installed and in working order:

Did you end up finding the harness? It seems like every person that’s done it and got it to work won’t reply on how or what part was used lol.

As I remember from full led facelift 2020,we did it profacelift 2017 we changed the stock xenon with d3s led and you need to customize the stock harness
