Hey guys, i’m looking into a complete OEM GT500 front end swap since i’m not exactly happy with my aftermarket fitment results, not to mention i’m wanting to go widebody eventually and would rather just have the “natural” width from the 350/500.

I’m coming here to see if anyone knows what all has to be done to do this conversion. i’ve seen JWS’s 350 conversion (also on a 50th LE) and assume some things are similar, some different due to them sharing the radiator support (19+ at least). if anything a parts list would be fantastic.

A more affordable option I’ve found is the i-5 autohaus conversion (here) but i’m not so sure how interchangeable some of the parts would be, mainly the carbon composite support and the fenders shaping looking a hair off. They’ve told me it’s supposed to be essentially OEM spec so i’m not exactly sure.

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

To properly do a true GT500 conversion, if you already saw JWS's GT350 conversion, that is what you're up against. The entire forward structure, the fenders, hood and bumper cover is all specific to the GT500 just as it is the GT350's.

It will be costly to do original Ford parts; if cost isn't a concern, then order parts from supporting vendor Benny and Levittown Ford on here.
