Couldn't be more wrong and I'm so sick of people using anecdotal evidence to not just justify their decisions, but tell others THEY are wrong.
OPG and sprocket failure rate is not statistically significant to warrant 'insurance' unless you are operating on the assumption that you are in the...
What are people doing who are going FI on an MT82, then? There's no way people are sticking with stock gearing esp if they're on 3.73s and the stock shifter sucks for high rev quick shifts.
At the end of the day I just want taller gearing, smooth shifting that won't lock me out at rpms above...
Thanks, never heard back after a couple of attempts to get a response from FiveBar, so I'll give them a shot.
Just curious - what would you recommend instead of the T56 swap since you're not a big fan?
After having my TT Hellion Topmount kit for a couple of years on a decent E85 tune, I've finally burned through the stock clutch.
Instead of simply upgrading the clutch, I am seriously looking into a T56 swap to get rid of the annoying MT-82 (1st gear is a joke bc of shortness, 2nd is ok, but...
Friday Evening update - reached out to Five Bar a couple days ago, haven't heard back.
Anyone have any other shops in any part of FL or the Southeast who are willing to take on the T-56 swap and do tuning/install with Boost Leash?
Hello All,
I've spent months trying to get ahold of a shop who is willing and able to do a couple things with my TT GT, but unable to get any local shop to commit in the SW FL region (a matter of getting responses, not ability to execute the job, btw).
I'm looking to do the following:

Respect is given until otherwise proven to be undeserved. Fear mongering with definitive word choices when recommending is cause for removal of said "respect", due to how it propagates a misconception, leading to further and further acceptance of an opinion stated as fact.
Opinion: I believe...
lol @ OPG being required for FI.
So much fear mongering with them. They are insurance, not a requirement. Use logic when applying advice, which requires additional investigation like use case.
FWIW I go WOT on my '19 TT every other day, (but practically never to rev limiter) and haven't done OPG swap out. Have been running this for almost a full year and have been fine. E85, 11PSI, most likely near 700-750whp.
I reached out to Anderson Composite directly with my question. I'll post a response when they get back to me regarding my concern for higher than stock underhood temps and thermotec adhesive holding up on a CF hood.
Looks great, congrats, man!
Are you stock under the hood? Asking because I have a thread going on in this subforum specifically regarding this hood and concerns about the heat tape AC recommends separating due to higher under hood temps.
Based on your last couple of pics it looks like you're...
Hi All,
I'm about to pull the trigger on an Anderson Composites Type SA Heat Extractor Double Sided Carbon Fiber Hood but I have some concerns I'm hoping some of you can answer (https://andersoncomposites.com/collections/all/products/2018-ford-mustang-carbon-fiber-heat-extractor-hood).
I see...
Thanks for the incredibly detailed and long post! There are sections of the wiring that I can't inspect without tearing the entire thing out from the firewall, so it looks like I'll have to set time to do that, since everything else I can find looks good - vacuum lines, fuses, etc.
I have a...
So as an update, I took both BOVs off and turned them to pretty much full 'hard' (joke away). Installed them back on and no change.
I noticed that once again, my factory PP gauge on vacuum is reading what it has always read, which once matched my eboost2, but eboost2 is now seeing WAY less...
