I hope all gets fixed properly and at no cost to you Hybrid.

To lighten the mood, I fitted the Lakin brackets at the weekend. First class product, everything fitted together perfectly.

This photo shows the 10 litres of goodness in the garage!

is yours an auto???

Have you taken it up through the twisties going between winmalee and yarramundi?

If you haven't you'll notice a big difference between the falcon and mustang.

^^^^ Not yet but I have driven them back to back on my Sunday morning drive.

I've noticed the Mustang feels more responsive, especially to the throttle, and feels like a sports car.

By contrast the R-Spec is heavier and I was surprised how much more I had to press the accelerator starting from rest.

Seat of the pants tells me the R-Spec is faster, especially up high, the supercharger just gives it so much pull, but the Mustang is a more "guided" missile.

Sad to say, I'm now considering selling the R-Spec.

Have you completed your customer satisfaction survey yet? They hate bad surveys. Worse, they hate bad Facebook comments. My wife whinged about not having a full tank of juice when the car was delivered and the Ford Australia Facebook mob jumped on our dealer. If you are being adversely treated, then social media is your friend.

If they do want to blame it on me, cool no worries. Don't fix it.

BUT... What I'm really pissed about is that they *may* want to charge me $500 for a repair that I was under the full impression was going to covered by them. (fender and door sil).

How can any smash repairer carry out work (that was supposed to be free), and then say "oh by the way, we're charging you $500" lol...

On top of this, I didn't sign anything plus there was no mention of any payment whatsoever. My point is, whether it's $10 or $10,000... Why is stuff (charged stuff) being done without asking me first?
I had this once before with a motorcycle dealer... they didn't quote but told me parts had been ordered. When I arrived to collect they showed me the bill and said it was damage caused by a rock or something else. If I'd have known it wasn't going to be covered I'd have replaced it with an aftermarket part that cost half as much and looked 10x better

Took a little road trip to Central Coast today. Was a beautiful drive. Lots of twisty's all the way to Killcare Beach. Got there 6pm.

No joke, there were like 4 people on the entire beach! Awesome. Took a few little scenic pics whilst there. Too bad the trunk was open

Also a 'fuel econ' snippet of the whole journey. Not too bad! Dropped to 11.2L/100KM when we got back.

(A bit of free advertising for Velgen and bm5400 )

Car looks great

The door sil is perfect. Still feel theres an odd feel/shake when you open the passenger door. But no worries...

I was told the paint chip on the fender Edge was gonna be resprayed (whole panel), turns out they just used touch up paint. How do I know? There's 2 tiny white spots in that area now. Lol...

Anyway I can't be bothered arguing with them over it.

Being OCD about my cars, the tiny white spots would drive me insane but im glad they sorted it for you without you having to fork out anything extra from your pocket.

There is a feature there where the window slides down slightly as the door is opened. I sometimes think it does feel odd when the door opens. Then when the door is closed the glass slides up.
