There is a feature there where the window slides down slightly as the door is opened. I sometimes think it does feel odd when the door opens. Then when the door is closed the glass slides up.
This isn't uncommon for cars with frameless windows on the doors. My '04 Astra convertible does this

Ditto my M Coupe.
Can be disconcerting, especially for people who have never seen it before.

The strange thing is that the rattle/vibration thing doesn't happen on the driver's side lol. But in any case, all good... Not gonna stress over it anymore.

fellas, got the quote for the lower grilles from Levittown. works out to USD$149 each ($63+86 shipping) - to ship them individually is USD$160 so not really worth the group buy...

apparently the package is just too big for the postal service so there's no real discount

The door sil is perfect. Still feel theres an odd feel/shake when you open the passenger door. But no worries...

I was told the paint chip on the fender Edge was gonna be resprayed (whole panel), turns out they just used touch up paint. How do I know? There's 2 tiny white spots in that area now. Lol...

Anyway I can't be bothered arguing with them over it.
Hey Hybrid, I have the same thing on the passenger side door. Driver's door is fine when you open it, but on the passenger side it seems like the window does not lower enough when you open the door and the window catches on the rubber and then flicks as you open the door, everyone who has got in the passenger side has commented on it, it is really noticeable. I mentioned it at the 3000 Km service and they have noted it and ordered a new window rubber as they reckon that is the problem. Personally I think it is an issue with either door alignment or the window action, but I guess I will find out once the new window rubber arrives and they fit it. Unless I find some other fix from others who have experienced the same thing. Don't know how bad yours is, but on mine it feels like it will break the glass eventually.

Thanks Gnome. Yeah, let me know how it goes after the rubber is replaced.

My door alignment seems to look fine (apart from that bulge that was there on the bottom). So it is possibly the rubber.

PS: Here's the "Fixed" paint chip. Clearly "repainted" and not touched up badly. White overspray on the inside.

Maggie the GT...
Taking the wife's Eco in for it's first service tomorrow, took delivery from Clancy's in Bathurst late Dec 2015 - done 2500 klm but heading up to GC for the Mustang Nationals (not entering it) so prefer to get the issues logged in early.

Taking it to the local dealer in Coffs - should be interesting, the rear bumper/valance panel has def dropped 10mm on the LHS since we picked it up, which in turn has affected the RHS fittment.
The upper boot line gaps are fine but the gaps on either side of the black panel between the rear brake lights are not.
Bonnet gaps on both long sides are out also.
Paint finish seems fine - but that's to my untrained eye...
Happy with everything else - have warned the boss that the dealer will probably have it for a few days next month to fix the above.
Funny thing is the rear of the car was 100% on pickup but it's arse has sagged through driving 2500 klm in 11 weeks which included the 800 klm trip home.
Hopefully the rear doesn't fall off on our trip north this week.
How embarrassing....:D

Cheers

No bonnet pinch on yours? Also check whether both pony images are projecting nicely. There are reports of them breaking up.

Will double check the bonnet pinch - ponies are both fine.

Like mine:frusty: Looks like the drivers side pony is being ridden by an alien.
