Yeah, I thought so too. I've seen a few other major models where you can find things like coupe vs. convertible, and a few that even had major options and color segments.I don't think I've ever seen an official breakdown of sales by model, would be interesting to see.
Camaro was 5,303.And what about the other competitors in the segment?
I would assume so. November is when a majority of the country gets to experience that lovely white snow for the next 6 months. Not exactly when a lot of people want to run out and buy a performance car.Do sales always slow down around the Holiday season? Just a few months ago S550 was selling in the 10-12k/month range. 7k/month seems low in comparison.
It's just the winter settling in. Most people want 4X4's, SUVs etc. during the winter months, while during the warmer months people sway toward the performance oriented models.Do sales always slow down around the Holiday season? As others have mentioned, it's mostly because of winter setting in and people wanting winter oriented vehicles. Although I believe if we look at some of the charts usually posted with the sales every month that you will notice the sales typically drop off a month or two earlier than this.Do sales always slow down around the Holiday season? Some people like statistics. It's what auto manufacturers base future decisions on, so it will give us some insight into where things are moving to.I don't know why people other than Ford even look at the sales. Obviously the new model mustang is going to sell more than an outgoing model camaro. And the new camaro will likely sell more than the 2016 mustang. Besides that point, I'd rather own a car that sells less to be slightly more unique.
