So I’m losing about a quart of oil between oil changes and I’m changing oil every 2500 miles. Is that normal or should I have that car looked at? The car has a Whipple supercharger and long tube headers with high flow cats and made 728WHP.

Are you leaking anywhere? I had a crankshaft seal that was leaking after whipple and timing gear replacement.

I still change oil at 5K miles and have not noticed any issues with being low after the leak was fixed.

No I park in my garage every night and there’s zero leaks.

Some coyotes just use a little oil, others don't. The coyote I had in my previous F150 used about a quart every oil change, otherwise ran perfect. When using it for towing and pushing it a little, it would use a little more than normal.

The coyote in my mustang does not use a drop. I've had the whipple on for about 3.5 years now and beat on it pretty good. Drag race a bunch too. I always check it and it never moves.

You shouldn't be losing that much oil. If there are no leaks, then it's probably rings or valve seals or massive crank case evacuation.

Mine doesn't use any as far as I can tell.
This was my experience when I had a Whipple on my gen 3 for ~20,000 miles.

I changed the oil kinda whenever (every 4-5k miles), checked it frequently (every couple fuel fill ups), and never saw any use that required topping it up.

How many miles on the engine? Mine doesn't lose any oil at all..

I’ve owned a 2016 Roush Supercharged Mustang since it was new. I used 5-20wt as recommended by Roush for the first 30,000 miles while living in Illinois.
Since moving to Florida it’s much hotter so I now use 5-30wt and I have never seen the oil level below the full mark on either oil weights ever.

Do you engine brake above 3k a lot?
