Hi there,

I've experienced different noise levels inside my convertible: on the driver's side everything is normal and ok whereas on the right hand side the noise level coming from outside the car is much louder, somehow as if the window is open although it is closed. Does anyone has noticed the same behaviour? And is there already a solution? Thanks in advance for your help!

Best wishes

Thorsten.

My Mustang Cyclone powered convertible is too darned quite...I cannot hear the engine hardly at all. I am planning on getting axle back exhaust so I know what the engine is doing. But to your question, there is no difference in sound level from one side of vehicle to the other in the V-6 version. But, what side of the Ecoboost motor is your turbo on?

If you want noise up front I highly recommend the Roush intake. Pair that with an axelback and a tune and your sixxer will come to life :ford:

Exactly right

That's what I plan to do exactly.:headbang: But I want a drone-less axle back and haven't chosen one yet. Just waiting for a few more exhaust options as it now seems like more are being offered.:clap2: I only wish that the aftermarket suppliers had not listened to all that negative schuttlebut about the Cyclone motor not being offered in the S550... I believe that dissuaded them from developing, testing, and producing mods for the Cyclone engine, as they might have believed there would be no Market without the Mustang inclusion. Surprise, Surprise :eyebulge: the Cyclone made it into the 2015-17 Pony Lineup.:cool:

I think the release of the Ecoboost really killed the aftermarket support for the Cyclone. In terms of drone, when I had just a muffler delete drone was non existent. I now have some drone with the resonator delete but still cruising at 75 mph it doesn't bother me whatsoever. Also a muffler delete is dirt cheap in comparison to aftermarket offerings, and every muffler shop carries small performance mufflers you can get installed if you like, also resonated tips really make a difference in the tone, I just hate the way they look.
