The TVS is taller than the stocks manifold got 11-14. Stock brace doesn't fit.

But the exchanger is deep. The fastest way to settle the head unit lower would be to shorten the exchanger. This would mean less efficiency but it'll work to fit it.

Centrifugals don't affect height as long as there is room in front to mount it.

Aftermarket engineers are very creative. They'll come. And they'll rock big numbers.

I do hope my kit in about to pull off my 11 will fit at least most of the parts, but I'm not planning on it.

Oh man I couldn't even begin to guess from pics. I don't know if the intake has been redesigned to be shorter or anything. Not without having one to take measurements and compare to mine.

There will be room. No doubt at all. It's just weather or not the blowers lower intake will have to be redesigned to fit. No way at all to tell from pics.

I was trying to judge from the brace, it appears that it "up-turns" quite a bit from the strut top to go over the engine. Like you say though, hard tellin' without knowin'

Yeah at first I saw that also but again, no way of knowing without knowing if the stock intake is any lower. If it's, say, 1.5" lower and the brace is same height over intake as s197, then it's still 1.5" less room (TVS and whipple require removal of brace).

When I get a chance I will try to seeing I can measure how much room between mine and my hood. Just out if curiosity.

The other thing is, supposedly the new one is like 35mm lower but that depends on where. If it's 35mm at back, then current setup may fit. If it's 35mm at front of motor, then current setup probably won't.

What I wouldn't give to see a well done shaker on the new Mustang. That would be sweet.

Shaker is retro and wouldnt fit well imo on this mustang. Also, getting LT headers on these cars are a bitch, hopefully Ford made it easier at least for the 2015.

I really really doubt that got any easier. But we can hope.

I don't think that the Shaker would look good on the S -550 in My Opinion. It would be out of place. Like a Shaker on an Aston Martin. It just wouldn't look right.

Oh I agree. But just because it don't look right doesn't mean it won't happen. There is some absolutely tasteless people out there (see the whole import and "stance" crowd....).

All they would need to do is bulge the hood, it already has a Cowl Induction shape to it, just raise the center to meet the body lines, gains at least an inch. I thought the shaker looked out of place on everything since a '70. I think the racing hoods used in PWC/Conti get it right, functional bulge that doesn't drastically change the look of the car.

Some people (*waves*) don't want to replace hoods to install blowers though.

Brent, that's the point. It may fit, but probably not with the struct tower brace. The hood is lower compared to the 2010-2014 models. Wait until Edelbrock actually drops one in there. They will post a notice on their website that they need "guinea pig" cars to test out mods. You usually get a very discounted price on these if you're the first one to volunteer. They will also need your car for at least a week to a month.

You do get that the new design is yet another retro Mustang design, right? Just as much as the S197, if not more so. A shaker hood would fit right in. If they do make a new Mach 1 in a few years, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Shaker on it.
