Noise from under hood

I have 2019 GT. It is now parked in the garage, under a cover and hooked up to a battery tender for the winter. Every now and then I hear noise coming from under the hood. Sounds like some sort of solenoid cycling on and off or resetting. Any suggestions as to what this is? could it be part of the security system?

probably just the mice ..... nothing to worry about.

There is a fat thread on here about odd or unexplained noises from under the hood and from just behind the driver seat upon opening the driver door. . My memory of it is that consensus attributed all that to the awareness of the computer that some action was imminent so it flipped a relay and primed the fuel pump. My experience was that none of that happened when the fob was at a distance. Do you know where your fob is?

Yeah, the car is getting ready to start is all. It does some random stuff, like moves the IMRC flapper in the manifold for one. If the fob isn't present it shouldn't do anything though.

Some noises are attributed to the EVAP system, which purges the charcoal canister with some weird timing that can take days. I only caught the noise once, probably a day after I used the car. Heard it when opening the garage, so couldn't tell where it came from. But it's normal, so no worries .

Mine was doing this today 17 GT It was idling and I heard some clicking noises coming from under the hood. I opened the hood and could not pinpoint where it was coming from, then it quit.

Kind of like a dog or cat having involuntary movements when sleeping/dreaming!

On a more serious note I could see this happening when the key fob is in close proximity as previously mentioned.

It sounded like the A/C clutch cycling. But it was not.
