Greetings,

I have a new car and don't want to drill holes in the front bumper cover. Sto & Go has a bracket that attaches below the front air dam but the plate is in front of the grill opening for the intercooler. Has anyone found any other options to attach the front plate holder?

Thanks, Tom

I have the Craig's bracket and am very happy with it.

Craig's. Best part it is a simple thumbwheel to attach and remove. I always left mine off and kept the plate in the car. Although I was never pulled over (NJ) if I had I would had said sorry I forgot and just reattached it.

Does Maryland really care?

Virginia no longer does.

I bought the craigs but couldnt bring myself to use it. Looks like it would work fine. Seems good quality and discrete. I keep it in the trunk in case i ever get stopped i can slap it on.

I never had the dealer install it on my Mach 1 and live in MN. I've gone by a couple dozen cops and nobody has pulled me over.

I have the sto and go on mine. I havent notices any ill effects with the plate in front of the lower opening. IAT2s dont look any different with the plate on or without it

I noticed that my nephew doesn't have a front license plate on his suv. He said that it fell off a few years ago. He has not been pulled over for it.

Is IAT2 the temperature at the intake manifold?

In my state its not a primary offense, which means they shouldnt pull you over for it, but if they pull you for speeding they can tack on the front plate charge.

I feel like if I’m not doing something to really get pulled over for I think they’ll leave me alone. I imagine they wouldn’t want to drill into the front bumper of their 60k car

Rectangle piece of paint protection film somewhere on the flat of bumper

Then put a perimeter of double sided sticky tape weatherproof kind around / on the PPF

Make sure license plate is clean, slap that bad boy onto it.

No drilling, won’t come off til you want it. Use steam, the PPF will lift right up

I did this on two cars. No issue

If you wanted it dead center of nose you would need to put a slight bend in the plate,
The PPF doesn’t care but the plate being metal will need the bend to contour
