I really liked running NT01's when I had the Boss and would like to get back to this tire on my R. Was thinking about running a square set of 305 /30 R19 on the stock R wheels. Do you think that will work? I know the wheel sizes are staggered but I'm going to have to flip them on the rims at some point anyway so wouldn't be a big issue.

The other choice would be to get a set of non staggered rims that I could run these on. Anyone have any suggestions? Not looking for a super expensive set of forged rims, just something that would be relatively good for track duty. What kind of spacer would I need on the fronts to make this work?

It will work just fine on those rim widths. Now some will tell you not to as the rears are smaller than stock but I wouldn't have any problem running them and I do on my 16 GT350 TP.

I forget, do they make a 325/30-19 ? That would be more ideal for your 11.5 rears. Otherwise Toyo R888's are basically the same tire. Yes, tread is different but it's the exact same compound.

They make a 325, but I want to run square. Don't think 325 square will fit.

I've been running a set of NT01's in 325 square on my R for most of the season. I assure you, it'll fit.

The NT01s will definitely work with 305s all around. I've got a set of 6GR wheels I'm going to sell to step up to some high end wheels. Looks like we're close. Shoot me a PM if you're at all interested in trying those out.

Curious, why square? The only reason why I run 305's all the way around is because RE71R's don't come in a 325. Otherwise I'd be 305 front, 325 rear and on 19x11's and 19x11.5's

Lot's of advantages: car is more neutral and you can swap front and rear.

Nope, the NT01 isn't the same as the R888. Driven both and R888 heat cycles out well before they wear out. NT01 is good to the cord. :D

I've experienced no such thing. Now you're also not the first one to say this either though...but I'm not nice to tires either. I killed a set of RS3's in a season. Not a year, a SEASON, and that's a very good lasting tire.

Good to know, are you using the CF wheels?
I am, but I run Hoosier R7's in 315/30/19 square on the carbon wheels. I run the 325 NT01 setup on my 6gr's.
