I just got HP Tuners PBD Ngauge and can't find the PID for injector duty cycle. I selected Ford gas 2008 and newer and it came up with 90 PID'd I think, but nothing shows up for IDC. What am I missing?

I think you have to calculate it from injector pulse. not 100% sure on the hp version.

Yes their is no injector duty cycle it is inferred from pulse width and pressure i believe.

never used an hp setup, but maybe try this? Don't know if you have the computer side to set the config.

VMP confirmed at least with my setup that PW and DC are not available. Drives me nuts, I have no idea how close to saturation I am other than to watch other lagging indicators. Kills me how many PID’s you have access to but one of the most fundamental items I have ever used isn’t here.

Can you download VCM Scanner from HPT site and use the NGauge USB to run it? I have HPT but not the NGauge, so not sure if that is possible. If so you can create Inj PW via the Math function in VCM Scanner.

nGauge does not read IPW, so therefore IDC cannot be calculated. If you want something to watch to make sure your injectors are clogged add STFT1 and STFT2, when you either lose pressure or have clogged injectors the fuel trims will rocket to 30+

Thanks for the reply. I have 72's and MSD BAP was trying to see if was running out of injector or pump. Last WOT pull was seeing STFT's adding 6-8 between 7800-8000 RPM and AFR was fluxing from 11.8 to 12.

Adding 5 to 8 %is not too terrible. Also is this 93 or e85.Those a/f are not bad for 93.Would be nice to have idc to see how close you are to maxing your fuel.syztem out.Maf curve being incorrect can through trims off also.
