Recently my Knock PID on the ngauge will stop working after going WOT just gets pegged at 0. If i unplug and plug back in the ngauge it still wont work but if i turn the car off and back on it starts reading again. Just trying to figure out if its a Knock Sensor issue or a ngauge issue. I tried reaching out to LUND but they are unable to help without me paying $50. Had anyone seen this?

No it's called KNOCKR (Knock Retard). When it's positive, it's pulling timing. When it's negative, it's adding timing.

what is PID for knockr ? You could test this with a blue tooth obd and Torque app.

Did you scan your car and select the right pid list? Go to gauges and do a re-scan and select 2011+ gasoline fords I believe its called. That should give you a full list of PIDS including KNOCKR

Yeah I think it says all ford vehicles 2008 and newer....should I be scanning with engine running? Or just ignition on?

Nm I just re did the scan and found knock. Sweet thanks man!

Now total.newb I want this to stay under 0? At idle it's just reading 0.00 and.not fluctuating at all

Exactly. Above zero or any positive digit is knock. Have you dataloged it yet? If so load the datalog onto datazap and share it here.

I'll try to get a lot uploaded tonight. I ran it today and numbers do change in accelerating. In fact I say positive 2.65 so I got to get the logs to lund

Thanks for everyones response seems like the thread got a little off topic but i'm having the ngauge replaced due to touchscreen issues and i'm hoping that will resolve this one as-well.
