So over all at WOT where do you want your knock to be at, in the positive or negative?? I have a NGuage as well and at wot my cars goes from +4.00 to around +6.00....

your either getting false knock or your octane sucks, or your using low grade octane,

the car is safe, it's just not making power, the car is doing what it's designed to do

Alrighty. Thanks man. Well I use nothing but 91 so maybe it is shitty gas quality. I'm just worried about screwing something up. I'll have to get in contact with my tuner soon.

if it's 91, that would explain

if you put 93, the car would allow for more timing

You can usually tell n the data log if it's false knock from a noise you would see the knock occur randomly. Like being at 0 or negative then all of a sudden spike to positive knock then go away. Or possibly stay if the noise is constant through redline.

Yeah it does stay at 0.00 down low or cruising. If I start hitting 4500k and up its starts increasing... Hey what's up man. My tuner had told me to put some octane booster and see if it gets better and if it does get better then it's a actual knock. If it doesn't then its a false knock do to exhaust or noise resonance

If it's increasing towards redline under WOT it's probably octane related. It depends on how how much timing is being commanded, if you have cats or not, or if cat overheat protection is enabled with the rear o2's on, I've gone through this with two different tuners on two different tanks of gas data logging for both tuners. Don't go down the rabbit hole haha. It will take over your life haha. Try a different gas station, top tier, and add some Booster if you like. Data log a WOT pull and see what happens. It's probably not false knock from your exhaust unless something is hitting in the engine bay at higher rpm. Also get a good oil separator to make sure that isn't effecting your fuel as well.

I had an awesome data log from October. Nothing changed on my car from then till now besides fuel. Data logged this month and had some positive knock up top. There is no revision to be made. Tune is set up right. Just not getting what it needs to advance spark like before. I'm hoping some shitty winter fuel mixes are still out. Will data log each time I fill up to see if it improves. Also trying a different oil separator.

Thank you for the info man much appreciated. I was out and about and just got home. So I noticed I get positive feedbac( 2.3-2.6) when just going like half throttle. It bounces around at times too, from +to-... Still doing the same up top. I bought some octane booster so I'll see if that changes anything.
As far as datalogging unfortunately I have no idea what I would be doing lol. I'd have to look into that more. My tuner is the one that did all my tuning. Owns a shop out here in SOCAL called Addiction Motorsports.
So how do read that knockr gauge? So theoretically I shouldn't be in the positive side at all right? Wether down low or up top..
