I have been looking for some decent quality seat covers for my '15 GT. Not an easy process so far. While searching I ran across these new takeoff complete leather interiors.I would actually prefer high quality vinyl but $349 is less than the price of iffy fitting seat covers and they are pretty much all vinyl except for the centers. Has anyone gone this route? Did you have them installed by a pro? How much?. If you installed yourself how hard was it?
Were there any problems with the new ones? Did you remove the existing covers? Let me know, pls.

Damn 350$? Prices went down lol. I purchased a set of new take off leather and installed them myself. It was well worth it. Installing them is relatively easy as long as you have some mechanical background skill. There is a whole how to thread with pictures and directions on the forum. Do a little search and you will find it. Plenty of people have done this mod on here.

Good luck

Did new take offs on my '11 convertible. I had a shop install because of my fear of seat airbags but, really not a big issue if you let them power down for a half hour after. The seats looks perfectly factory (of course). If all vinyl is your goal, see if the shop will replace the center portions with vinyl before installing. Since I had a vert the leather shrank due to exposure and had to be replaced with a good grade vinyl and they stood up much better than the leather.

Did you remove the oem covers prior to the install?

I studied the installation instructions here and they were well done. After further searching I think maybe Katzkins may be better than the oem stuff. They are kind of a pain to deal with though. I did find it easier on Ebay. At least they have actual prices.
I am still studying.

I bought this leather upholstery set form new takeoff.com for my 15 base GT. I paid $575 8 months ago and I thought that was a bargain. This is replacement leather upholstery for the cloth upholstery that is now in your car. You remove the cloth upholstery. I had a local auto upholstery shop install them. They charged me for 8 hours labor to do the installation. I was totally satisfied with the results. These leather seat covers are exactly like the seat covers in my 16 GT Premium the only difference is that you don't get the heated & cooled feature. At $349 they are a killer deal.

If interested in Katzkins let me know and I can get you pricing. We are an authorized dealer with great pricing. You can get them made in full vinyl if that's what you are wanting.
