I have to say that i am truly impressed by the acceleration and handling of the GT. It goes like a train when you want it and can make roundabouts straight....the acceleration is truly something

Not only does it put a smile on my face everytime, it also surprises me. Every time!
I can totally sign that. I'm at about 290km, so I'm of course warming up the engine and learn how the car handles. I'm really careful in pushing the pedal, but everytime I try to push it just a little bit more, I'm really amazed how friggin fast the car must be when you really let go the full power

Only downside to me is, that I'd really love to see how my car must look from the outside while driving it through the roads, since a many people stare at it :headbonk:

I mean, when I'm leaving the car I take a lot of looks back to my car, I think I could spend hours of standing in front of it and enjoy how beautiful it is. And I think my gf is starting to get jealous :D

I was thinking.. is only Germany that has some highways without speed limits?
There are actually speed limits as the "official" Autobahn limit is 130 km/h but there are large sections that are unmarked which has been popularized as "unlimited."

Problem is you get stress with the insurance companies if you crash your car.

Actually if you crash the car with 200+km/h you get company with st. Peter.....
There are circumstances where a driver has survived after crashing even at 200 km/h however statistically speaking your chances are slim...

Where I am there are lots of auto accidents due to windy roads and people overestimating their own ability, the ability of the car, or just not paying attention to dangers like wildlife.

I check about twice or three times a week for accidents in the area because a friend of mine died out on these roads and I like to know as much information about this place as possible...

What about suspension? Is it adaptive? How do you feel it in low/high speeds?
Any adjustments?
The suspension is stone-hard or back-breaking..... seriously hard anyhow. But after a while you get used to it ;)

Not me. Way to old for that kind'a stuff....

When you see the white round sign with 3 straight markers running through it - you have no limit. However, the recommended speed on those sections are 130.

On the A2 from Berlin to Hannover, one can see blue signs saying 130...but those are only recommendation and not to be mistaken by the official signs which are white with a red border and whatever they say has to be followed. Although many germans doesn't seem to have attended driving school :paddle:

AFAIK the german insurance companies will not give you crap unless you drive to fast on restricted sections or drive with summer tyres on when winter's are required (the latter meaning you are automatic at fault).

That's interesting I've not run into those blue "suggested speed" signs yet but nothing is a bigger buzz-kill than going 220 km/h and then running into either a Baustelle or 100 km/h zone. :frusty:

I need to find somebody with this car just to get my fix other wise I'm going to lose it!

This is not good news for my back (hernia discal....)

Is the suspension too hard in 2.3 version as well?

A pillow should help?

I think the 2.3 uses the exact same setup. Maybe slightly better due its lower weight?

Does the Mustang Nav have a "top speed' feature like most portable ones?
You guys need to get a pic on my thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29639

If you have a top speed feature, you can take the pic after you park, which I HIGHLY recommend.
Dont want to add to the wrecked Mustangs thread :eyebulge:

I took this pic after I had arrived to work and was parked
The car made it there very quickly and without drama, I just didn't dare push the crap stock tires further
