Anyone spoke about stupidity?
:eyebulge: I remember you tell something about that, but didn't know the details!
Yes, this could be the most stupid way to calculate taxes. However it's the same used here for businesses: You have a repair shop? So you should earn xx.xxx euros yearly and so you have to pay xx% (something about 50% :ninja:) in taxes. Oh... you have earned less this year? I don't mind, you have to pay the same % of the ESTIMATED income you should have.
:ninja:

to all: excuse us for the OT!

In Custom Pack the passenger's glove box is also "dressed" with soft material like upper doors/dash, or it is still hard plastic which is very sensitive to scratches?

I washed it twice and failed twice...

First one a diy self-wash, don't do it! The paint doesn't like it and had lot's a ugly spot's from the so called wash without drying solution in it. + Scratches from the high pressure.

Second wash with the chemical guy's V7, yet the sun came through and I was left behind with large spot's so I had to start over in the evening. That wasn't a good idea either, I see swirls and mini scratches already. (black cars suck to wash!)

I can't wait to have it paint corrected and detailed and then fully wrapped in X-Pell Ultimate! But first need to work my ass off a bit more or marry an old widow very soon ;)

Excellent stuff!

Mine's had the paint corrected and polish etc etc etc last week so now it's very easy to keep clean. The microfibre towels I have used for years and they also work wonders you more or less anything (like flat tv's, glasses, glass cooker etc).

"paint corrected"? Excuse my naivety - what does that mean?

It is to "correct" any flaws in the paint work like orange peel (BMW have this a lot!) and get rid of small scratches etc. I am certainly no expert but have had this done on all my cars for the last 20 odd years. Currently they use some kind of Nanotex technology. Makes the paint incredible smooth and stays polished for a year when a top-up is needed. Especially wise to do on a new car as it's cheaper to do when new compared to when car is a bit older and more work is needed.

If you go down the wax route, only Carnuba (from Brazil) will do

Also the AutoGlym HD wax is very good and easy to work with.

An example of orange peel on a F11 535D that I used to have.... (this is the actual reflection in the car).
