So I am lost on color and wheel choice for my 2016 GT PP1. I want a squared setup as I love cornering and want a lightweight wheel that won’t break the bank. Color choice is also very hard for me as I don’t want to be another played out white/black color way. Any suggestions?

Your aesthetic is already pretty heavy white/black. So if wanting to avoid black wheels, my suggestions are for Apex EC-7 19x10 square in bronze or the 6GR Tens 19x10 in bronze

I have Forgestar CF5, silver wheels, 19 * 10 weigh about 24lbs each. A good 6lbs each LESS than stock 9 or 9.5" wide stock wheels on my PP1. They are about $400 each but a number of places have them on sale on. Look for/ask about Black Friday sales NOW!!! I paid $200 each last yr. There's a thread where you can ask someone to photoshop whatever you like.

Maybe red, blue or bronze wheels? I agree silver/black/grey won't have any real impact on a white car.

I have a white car and have had my eye on these SVE R355 in titanium gray from LMR.

They also have other styles that come in bronze, and most of their wheels are light weight.

You want light, you have to go forged. NES has many colors and styles that'll run you ~ $1K / rim and not be a "compromise".

Paint shop can do any color you want for $500 max if you bring them in glass bead blasted, stripped or worst case a good rubbing with red scotchbrite everywhere.

It's just a wet on wet process: etch primer, color coat, and clear coat.

Powder coating even cheaper should be about $75 wheel or so, less choice and finish a bit orange peely.

Can also take them to anodizing shop who strip them, and anodise any color you want, for less than $100 wheel. The architectural colors are very limited but withstand UV forever while the rest are probably good for ten years if parking inside. I know a place strips and anodizes for $50 wheel.

Just get the style and weight you want then color as you wish.
Great ideas but none of them will reduce the weight. :giggle:

biggest mistake I ever made was going with 19" wheels. I shoulda bought 18x10 fronts and 18x11 rears

Hi @WildHorse. Just wondering where the last couple of your posts are coming from. They do not seem to be related to the topic of the thread. This OP was asking mainly about color. Nothing about wheel size was mentioned or asked.
