Far as I'm aware, that is the production version. Being that it's just an update of an existing model.

Mid-sized trucks are making a comeback, so we may actually see this.

I work overseas, and have gotten to ride in the new ranger a few times, and it's a pretty good little truck. Even comes with a small diesel.

Id love for a diesel ranger. I want a mid size truck for off roading, trails, mud, rocks etc and currently the only thing truly available is the tacoma. give it a lift and some 35s and ill be set, unless the ranger comes out before i buy the taco lol.

It's routed like that on the production version. They did a thin bumper instead of cut outs.

Yes, but flared exhaust and cut support exhaust hook up provisions so they can evaluate the car in a testing facility and vent properly.

The clearance in the prototype displayed may not be the final one, or provide adequate clearance either, so the cut up a regular F150 bumper assembly.

I really like the new Raptor, I wanted to get a 2013 3.5EB truck and do a Raptor conversion for the longest time. It seems there is a far amount of people who don't like it within the Raptor community. However I think that has more to do with the this truck will eclipse the previous version in every way.

That is why I am considering a used 2012 Raptor.

I'm considering trading up, but still hesitant on the motor. Not because I doubt the power, I'm more concerned about the sound. Can't have a big truck sounding like something out of F&F.
